The Our Oath in Action program’s history dates back to 2005 as the veterinarians’ response to the devastating impact Hurricane Katrina left in the Gulf Coast area of the United States. To assist in the recovery efforts in New Orleans the AVMF organized volunteers including veterinarians, their staff, family and friends, to clean, repair and reopen animal shelters.
Today, the veterinary students of Michigan State University continues their legacy by putting on our community event in an effort to continue to raise awareness about the constant struggle that is animal welfare and care. The school and the surrounding communities band together for one amazing day of fun the whole family can enjoy. |
MSU CVM
The students of the college of veterinary medicine work hard every day to fight for the voices of animals around the world, together and forever.
